In today’s blog, we are going to feature our marketplace package solution, which allow your brand to create a collection of overlays and templates and include them in our Photofy app marketplace. These packages can either be brand-specific, for product launch events or to empower your advocates to access branded assets, or sponsored packages, where a brand sponsors a package related to their industry or product.  For example, Pyrex sponsored  a baking and cooking collection to honor their 100th anniversary. Other clients have included, Arbonne, and Oscar Mayer to name a few.

Beyond just working with you to create the overlay content for your package, there are other features we can provide for you to further drive brand awareness and impressions, as well as help you grow your sales. One of these options is our targeted trigger push notifications. After a customer downloads your package, we can send them a push notification at a set period in time (say 24-hours after purchase) and bring them to a customized landing page inside our app. On this page, you can promote a discount code, a new product or service, or anything else that makes sense, and we can link them to your website.  Other features include a link on the marketplace package itself, which can go to whatever url you wish.

Video Blog – Using Templates for Real Estate Posts

At Photofy, we work with tens of thousands of businesses to help them create branded, meaningful social posts in just a few minutes directly from their mobile device.

Some of our business owners are single operators, and simply use our Logo+ feature in our app, which allows you to upload 12 transparent .png files and access them from a single device.

Video Blog – Dynamic Overlays

In this video, we spotlight one of our newest in-app features – custom artwork. By using these items, you are able to simply personalize the text in the overlay to fit your needs. In this example, we use the Happy Hour overlay, and adjust the time to read 6pm-7pm tonight, and we also use the social media icons overlay and add “piola”.

Creating the Perfect Facebook Post with Photofy

Have you found that your Facebook ads aren’t getting enough views or interaction? Well we’re here on the blog today to tell you how to create the perfect Facebook ad with Photofy.

  1. Use the Photofy Web App Beta by logging into your web portal at and then selecting the Designer Beta icon, located in the top right.

  1. Our Web Portal gives you the ability to create an ad that follows Facebook’s guidelines. Your image can not have more than 20% text on it, so we can tell you if your image is okay without having to wait on Facebook to approve it. Screen Shot 2016-04-08 at 10.16.11 AM
  2. Once you have your image ready to go, think about these questions:
    • Who am I trying to reach with this ad?
    • What type of budget do I have to boost this ad?

    • From the screenshot above, you can pick the exact audience you want to see your ad.
  3. After you have all these questions answered, you are ready to create and boost your Facebook ad. Boosting your ad gives you the ability to choose a target location, target audience, and how long you want it to run. Even if you don’t have a large budget, you can still reach a wide audience.
